Board of Trustees Candidacy

1. The Board of Trustees consist of the following make-up:
   1. Four (4) elected at large from the unincorporated areas of Weber County.
   2. Five (5) appointed by the municipalities within the District:
      1. Farr West City
      2. Hooper City
      3. Huntsville Town
      4. Marriott-Slaterville City
      5. West Haven City
2. The Board meets monthly, on the second Tuesday, at 5:30 p.m. at the Administrative Station at 1871 North 1350 West, Ogden, UT. Meetings generally last an average of two hours.
   
3. The Board members are compensated $202.00 for each regularly scheduled monthly meeting.
   
4. Duties and responsibilities of the Board are outlined by State Statutes and By-Laws established by the Board.
   
5. The District is administered by a Fire Chief, Deputy Chief, Fire Marshal, Administrative Assistant, and a Part-time Administrative Clerk.
   
6. The District includes 511 square miles, consisting of all of the unincorporated areas of Weber County and five cities.
7. The District provides fire, emergency medical, hazardous material, and related services from four stations:
   1. Station 61, 2023 West 1300 North in Farr West
   2. Station 62, 5550 East 2200 North in Eden
   3. Station 63, 4646 West 4000 South in Hooper
   4. Station 64, 2175 East Eastwood in the Uintah Highlands
   5. We also have a temporary, not staffed station located in the Huntsville Town Shops.
   6. Station 65 and 66 (Underconstruction).
8. 8. Current Projects:
   1. Voters passed a Bond Election for the construction of three stations in November 2005. This will include the relocation of Administrative Offices and Station 61 to 2023 west 1300 North in Farr West City, a new station in the West Central (West Haven) area of Weber County and a new station in the Huntsville area.
