What is an Impact Fee?

An impact fee is not a tax, it is a fee that is imposed by a local government on new development projects.

Impact fees provide funding for essential public safety infrastructure needed by Weber Fire District to manage the increase in Fire Protection and Emergency Medical Service calls created by new growth.

Impact Fee Schedule:

Residential Fee:

$315.00 per Residence/Unit

Commercial Fee:

$600.00 per 1,000 sq. ft. (KSF)

Industrial Fee:

$187.00 per 1,000 sq. ft. (KSF)

Other:

$465.00 per 1,000 sq. ft. (KSF)

(Churches, School, other facilities that do not fall into above categories)
