WHO WE ARE

Weber Fire District is a full-service emergency response agency serving communities across Weber County, Utah. We provide professional, fire, medical, rescue, and public safety services to safeguard lives, protect property, and support community resilience.

OUR HISTORY

Our roots date back to 1936, when fire protection in the region began under the Weber County Fire Department. In 1982, the Weber County Commissioners formed Weber Fire District as a special service district, allowing the organization to operate independently and better meet the needs of a growing population. For nearly 100 years, we have remained committed to serving with professionalism and integrity.

WHAT WE DO

Today, Weber Fire District serves the incorporated cities of Farr West, Hooper, Huntsville, Marriott-Slaterville, Ogden Valley City, West Haven, and Uintah as well as the unincorporated areas of Weber County. Covering ~515 square miles and supporting an estimated 65,464 residents, the District provides suppression, emergency and non-emergency medical services, hazardous materials response, technical rescue, community risk reduction, planning, prevention, and public education.

We proudly support our mission to Care, Prepare, and Respond, protecting the communities we serve and strengthening them for the future.
