INSPECTIONS

Weber Fire District conducts inspections for various facilities and activities to help ensure they meet safety standards and comply with fire regulations.

Below is a list of facilities and activities that require inspection. To request an inspection for your business or business license, please follow the instructions below.

Inspections are required for:​

  • Food Trucks

  • Business Licenses

  • In-home Daycare, Daycare Facilities, Group Homes, and Nursing Homes.

  • Commercial and Residential Developments and Building.

  • Fire Suppression Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, Kitchen Hood Systems.

  • Other inspections that are deemed necessary as per the Fire Marshal's Office.

Business License,

Daycares, Group Homes, and Nursing Homes Inspections

  • Email the following information to Jolene at jwhipple@weberfiredistrict.gov.

  • Please include ALL of the following information.

    • Business Information - Business name, billing address, and physical address (if different).

    • Contact information - Contact person(s), e-mail addresses, and phone numbers.

    • Any additional information you think necessary.

  • An invoice will be created and e-mailed with a link to pay with a credit card*. *Card processing fees may apply

  • After payment is received, the Fire Marshal's Office will make contact to schedule a date and time to inspect 

​

**PLEASE ALLOW UP TO 14 BUSINESS DAYS FOR INSPECTIONS**

Your should be completely set-up and ready for operation.

Food Trucks

Food Truck inspections are typically scheduled to take place at Station 61, 2023 W 1300 N, Farr West, UT.

If you require an onsite inspection please note that there is an increase in the fee.

  • Email the following information to Jolene at jwhipple@weberfiredistrict.gov.

  • Please include ALL of the following information.

    • Food Truck Information - Food Truck name and billing address.

    • Contact information - Contact person(s), e-mail addresse(s), and phone number(s).

    • If you require an onsite inspection and the locations address.

    • Any additional information you think necessary.
