Public Hearing on Proposed Bonds to be Issued
The Local Building Authority of Weber Fire District has announced its intent to issue a Lease Revenue Bond (Series 2026) to support the construction of two new fire stations, along with a training tower and training facility with office space. Before the bond can move forward, a public hearing will be held to allow residents to ask questions and share input.
The hearing is scheduled for
Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 6:00 p.m.

Members of the public are invited to participate and may comment on both the bond proposal and any potential economic impacts to the private sector.
The proposed bond would provide up to $40 million in funding, with a repayment period of up to 25 years. The total estimated cost over the life of the bond, based on current projections, is $60,495,732.
Following the hearing, the Board may take action to proceed with the bond unless a sufficient number of registered voters file a petition requesting an election within the required 30-day period.
