📢 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING


Proposed Annexation of Riverdale City Protection Services into the Weber Fire District


Riverdale City has requested annexation into the Weber Fire District to provide fire protection, emergency medical services (EMS), and related emergency services.


Notice is hereby given that the Weber Fire District Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing to receive public comment regarding the proposed annexation.

Estimated Property Tax Impact


If the annexation is approved, the estimated annual Weber Fire District property tax beginning in 2027, based on the approximate average Riverdale City property value of $504,000 and the current certified tax rate, would be:

  • Residential Property: $360.64 per year

  • Business Property: $655.70 per year


Public Comments & Written Protests


Property owners and registered voters within the proposed annexation area may submit comments during the public hearing.


Written protests to the proposed annexation may be submitted within 30 days following the public hearing.
