For restriction information visit:

Governor Cox signed an executive order declaring a state of emergency that suspends UCA 53-7-224 and temporarily restricts fireworks discharge within incorporated cities and municipalities.
Please note: Fireworks are already prohibited on all unincorporated Weber County lands, State Lands, and Federal Lands. This executive order only expands firework restrictions to incorporated cities and municipalities.

Based on the information currently available, a statewide restriction on firework discharges through July 5, will be implemented, with two exceptions:
-
Licensed permitted public fireworks displays.
-
Fireworks discharged within a designated area approved by each individual city.*

*Cities may or may not designate approved areas.
*Please check the City website, social media, or normal channels of correspondence for updates.

As part of the ongoing process, officials will continue monitoring weather conditions, fire danger, and recommendations from the State of Utah, Weber County, and Utah Forestry, Fire, and State Lands.

Your patience is appreciated as local officials work through the details and determine how these changes will be implemented in each community.
For specific city information & restrictions, visit:
The city website, and/or their social media accounts.

IF NOT IN A RESTRICTED AREA:

Please use extreme caution when using fireworks during the permitted season. See the Fireworks page for State approved discharge dates.

If high winds, precipitation, or other adverse weather conditions prevail, fireworks discharge should be postponed or discontinued until conditions improve.
