After a distinguished 36-year career in the fire service -11 of those years with Weber Fire District, Deputy Chief David Reed is taking on a new role: a well-earned retirement.

Throughout his career, he has served in several capacities, starting out as a firefighter-paramedic to Fire Marshal, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to every role. His dedication and commitment to public safety have made a lasting impact on the District and the communities we serve.

While Chief Reed's departure is bittersweet, we want to take this opportunity to celebrate his enduring contributions and wish him nothing but the best in this next chapter.
