STAGE 2 FIRE & FIREWORK RESTRICTIONS 2025

Weber Fire District in cooperation with Utah State Division of Forestry and State Lands are enacting Stage 2 Fire Restrictions to include ALL unincorporated Weber County, ALL State Lands, the Weber River within West Haven City Limits, and the Upper Ogden Valley. (SEE MAPS)

ADDITIONALLY: Bureau of Land Management (BLM), National Park Service, & U.S. Forest Service Lands in selected areas. *SEE the Utah Interagency Fire Notice on our website for more info, areas, and maps.

EFFECTIVE: Friday, August 1, 2025

NO Open Flame - Including

No campfires.

No charcoal grills.

No pellet grills.

No ash-producing fuel.

NO Primitive Fire / No Open Burning

Includes Campfires.

No Smoking - Except:

Inside enclosed vehicles/buildings.

Developed recreation sites.

Paved or vegetation-free areas.

NO Fireworks or Pyrotechnics.

NO Tracer Ammo or Exploding Targets.

NO Cutting, Welding, or Grinding in dry vegetation areas.

NO Motorized Equipment (ATVs, chainsaws, etc.) without approved spark arrestors.

Gas or liquid-fueled stoves with a shut-off valve are allowed, with a 3-foot minimum clearance of barren ground. But with anything, please use extreme caution!
