🎆🚫 2026 WEBER FIRE DISTRICT SERVICE AREA - FIRE & FIREWORKS RESTRICTIONS 🚫🎆
Governor Spencer Cox signed an Executive Order on June 25, 2026, declaring a state of emergency that temporarily restricts the discharge of fireworks within incorporated cities and municipalities across Utah.
Please Note:Â Stage 2 Fire Restrictions went into effect on June 26, 2026. Fireworks were already prohibited on all unincorporated Weber County, State Lands, and Federal Lands. The Governor's Executive Order expands those restrictions to incorporated cities and municipalities.
đźš« Personal Fireworks Are Prohibited
The discharge of all personal, consumer-grade fireworks—including sparklers, aerial fireworks, and ground-based fireworks—is prohibited throughout the Weber Fire District service area, including:
đźš« Farr West
đźš« Hooper
đźš« Huntsville
đźš« Marriott-Slaterville*
đźš« Ogden Valley City**
đźš« Uintah
đźš« West Haven
đźš« Unincorporated Weber County***
🎆 Exceptions
The statewide restriction remains in effect through July 5, 2026, with only two exceptions:
âś… Licensed and permitted public fireworks displays.
âś… Fireworks discharged within a designated area approved by an individual city* (if one has been designated).
*Cities may or may not establish an approved discharge area.
