We’re Hiring: Deputy Fire Marshal
Weber Fire District is accepting applications for the position of Deputy Fire Marshal, a critical role supporting the District’s mission to Care, Prepare, and Respond through prevention, education, investigation, and enforcement.
This position plays a key role in upholding public safety by conducting fire code inspections, reviewing plans, performing compliance checks, evaluating hazard risks, and supporting fire investigations. The Deputy Fire Marshal works closely with the Fire Marshal, serves as Acting Fire Marshal when assigned, and supports emergency operations as needed.
Who We’re Looking For
An experienced fire service professional with:
Strong background in fire prevention or fire suppression
Working knowledge of fire codes, inspection practices, and investigations
Ability to educate property owners and enforce compliance
Experience using inspection/reporting software
A desire to protect the public and reduce risk before the call ever comes in
