Weber Fire District is accepting applications for Firefighters and Firefighter-Paramedics, essential roles in our mission to Care, Prepare, and Respond for the communities we serve.

These positions are on the front lines of public safety—responding to fires, medical emergencies, rescues, and hazardous situations with professionalism, teamwork, and compassion. Whether providing advanced life support, fire suppression, or emergency mitigation, our firefighters are trusted to perform when seconds count.

Who We’re Looking For

Dedicated public safety professionals with:

• Firefighter I & II; Hazmat Awareness & Operations level; Wildland Firefighter I

• A National Registry or Utah Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certification or above

• Ability to perform under pressure in dynamic, high-risk environments

• Commitment to teamwork, training, and continuous improvement

• Excellent communication and decision-making skills

• A passion for serving the community and protecting lives and property

• The ability to pass: a physical test, criminal background check, and driving record check
